Q. How ofen do you use L-1n/TT-02s (the document camaera) a day?

A. every day!!! several times throughout the day...

Teacher's comments:  I would have to say my favorite thing about the elmo(the document camera) is that it is real life!!! What is on the screen, is what is in front of them, full colour just bigger which truely benefits my students with visual impairment. My students love coming up and working with the elmo and watching their exact strokes and movements. We have even used the elmo (the document camera) to watch things grow, such as an animal hatching from an egg or a plant growing... My students love it when I trurn the camera head and point it to them on the screen - they are so funny :)

Q. Does it help develop students' concentration?

A. After teaching the what to's and the what not to do's on proper equipment care - I have found that the elmmo keeps the student's attention so much better than the overhead projector.. it is real, the worksheet is real, the money is real, your hand is real - it makes such a difference that your are able to use what ever you want, at any given moment under the elmo (the document camera) - no preparation to copy things on transparencies or have manipulitives that clear for the overhead projector...

Q. Does it help students have longer attention span?

A. Yes!!! instead of placing a handwriting sheet or an activety sheet onthe board for the whole class to see - you are able to place it under the elmo (the document camera) and enlarge it so we , as a class are able to focus on one area of the worksheet... This allows my students to saty focused and on task.

Q. Does it help raise students' grade?

A. In Kindergarten - a grade is relevant to following directions, staying focused, completing their assignments, etc. Not just reading and writing - so by using the elmo (the document camer), it does help the students' learn how to develop into a responsible , well rounded , problem slover...
